How to delete your Viewella account and what happens to your data

How to Delete Your Account

Open the Viewella app or visit viewella.com/login and sign in to your account.

Go to Dashboard → Account Settings.

Scroll to the Delete Account section at the bottom of the page.

Enter your password and press Delete My Account. Confirm the prompt.

Your account is deleted immediately. You will be signed out.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your Viewella account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your account credentials (email address and password)
  • Display name and profile information
  • Viewing history and search history
  • Personalised recommendations and taste preferences
  • Saved providers and device activations
  • Email verification and change request records

What Data Is Retained

For legal and operational purposes, the following may be retained for up to 30 days after deletion:

  • Transaction and payment records (required for tax and refund processing via Stripe)
  • Anonymised, aggregated analytics that cannot identify you

After the 30-day retention period, all remaining data associated with your account is permanently purged.

If you are unable to sign in or need assistance deleting your account, contact us at support@viewella.com with the email address associated with your account. We will process your deletion request within 3 business days.
